CASALONA....incredible loft in Barcelona

Modernista D&L: I want to tell you and the owners how much we liked the apartment. The rooms were very attractive and we particularly loved the old windows with the sliding wooden doors and the beautiful glassed-in balcony off the larger bedroom. The mosaic floors are fabulous, too. We also loved the furniture, which was very comfortable and attractive. The kitchen was great, but I cooked in it much less than I expected because the city's restaurants were so terrific and not expensive. All in all, the apartment was exactly as described, only even better. It made our stay in Barcelona truly special.

Modernista D&L: In April we stayed at the Modernista D&L in Barcelona for one week and thoroughly enjoyed our visit there. The apartment has all of the modern amenities, exactly as advertised. Everything about it is first class. There were also plenty of things to keep the kids entertained. Tati was very helpful and a good source of information about everything available to do and see in the area. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone planning a trip to Barcelona, and we would definitely stay there again ourselves.

Modernista D&L: The apartment was a fantastic alternative to a hotel. We paid close to what we have expected to pay for a hotel, but got so much more. It was so great to have a full kitchen where we could take a break from restaurants. The antiques and artwork in this apartment are beautiful; we hated to leave! We also want to express how great Tati was. She helped us with reservations, taxis, and even general information about Barcelona and its customs. We will definitely return to this oasis in the heart of the city!
